Media Movement Simplified



ShiftIt! is designed to copy Avid sequences and master clips between Interplay Production systems.

Unlike the built in tools provided by Avid, ShiftIt! works between Interplay versions, making it essential for upgrade or migration projects.

ShiftIt! uses its own optimised copy routines, making it significantly faster than a normal Windows copy.

Complete Control



Migrate assets simply by selecting source and destination folders, or select individual assets from the Source Assets list. The New Folder button allows the creation of a new destination folder. Choose where to store migrated media with the Destination Workspace dropdown or other network storage.



Connection Options



ShiftIt! is designed for an implementation in which the source system is accessed through conventional ISIS/NEXIS client connections whilst the destination is accessed either via a conventional ISIS/NEXIS client or via an ISIS/NEXIS File Gateway.



Keep Media Online



ShiftIt! can update the file paths stored as part of the asset metadata to match those of the copied media. This ensures copied assets will appear online and avoid the need to perform an “update from Media Indexer”.



Preserve Markers



If the source and destination Interplay systems differ widely in versions any markers (or locators) associated with source items may not migrate correctly. The Replace Markers feature in ShiftIt! will extract the markers from the assets before they are copied and replace them after copying.
